Newk’s began in 2004 as a sandwich shop in Oxford, Mississippi and became one of the fastest- growing franchisors of fast casual restaurants. With a footprint in the Southeast, Newk’s offers a diverse menu of high-quality, made-from-scratch sandwiches, soups, salads, and pizzas.

Newk’s performed with Sentinel as its partner, especially through the Covid pandemic. Having owned the business for nine years and achieved our investment objectives, Sentinel sold Newk’s to a portfolio company of another private firm in 2023.
